Hello to everyone,
I am Jessica Golwitzer and I am excited about having the chance to work with each and everyone of you! I am currently a Head Start preschool teacher in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I currently live in Crescent, Iowa with my cat named Pumpkin and my Siberian Husky dog named Rosie. I was raised and grew up in Crescent, Iowa. I really enjoy spending what little spare time I have I enjoy reading, and spending time with family and friends.
I am in my first year of teaching and in the fall will start my second year. I have loved absolutely every minute of the time that I have spend teaching. I attended and graduated from Buena Vista University in 2010. Which then I decided to turn around right away and get my master's degree. I will have to say that it has been a task trying to keep up with both work and school. I can't say that I have been bored this last year at all. I will be finished with my master's in October and I can't wait. This summer I am taking two courses and then I will have one course left.

ReplyDeleteI taught Head Start for five years before returning to school full-time to complete my undergrad program. It is such a rewarding position to work with the students and families. I miss working with the kids and seeing the look on their faces as they learn new things!
